APRIL 2011
We took advantage of being only an hour and half's drive from Paris to introduce Caleb and Bethanie to this beautiful city. To start with we met up with some friends in Le Jardin des Plantes and Matt enjoyed soaking up some rays.
Jonathan, Luke and Liv were on good form but sadly Jonathan's wife Ingrid wasn't well and we missed seeing her - next time Ingrid!
The kids got on famously
Bethanie found a bear in the Jardin's zoo
And a boat with her name on it (spelled correctly too!)
An afternoon stroll along the Seine was the perfect way to see some more of this wonderful city.
And a fun ride on a double-decker train got us to our next destination!
The kids were amazingly patient waiting to go up the Eiffel tower (unlike their daddy!) and didn't even complain that it was way past their bedtime by the time we got down... and we still hadn't had supper! Some more train rides later we got back to where we'd parked the car and enjoyed a Mexican meal out, before heading home to bed.
