Justin and Caleb drove 16 hours up to Scotland one weekend to be at the wedding of Justin's cousin Nathan, marrying the lovely Gillian - they had a great time!
We had a week away in Deb's family holiday home in Wales, but stopped off to see friends on the way. Gavin and Sarah's chicken farm (www.oxfordpoultry.com) was lots of fun and they really look after their chickens, should you be looking to buy your own fresh-egg layers!
Their twins, Bodie and Elise help collect the eggs too (Bodie far left)
In Stroud we caught up with old friends Jon & JuAnn Wren, and Caleb made a good friend in Charissa
We loved our walks in Wales
Exploring an old silver-lead mine...
..with it's own post-box?!
The beautiful Ystwyth valley
This is not meant to be a promotional blog but just because we like sharing things we know are great - you can stay in our cottage too, see www.welsh-hideaways.co.uk for more details (beautiful inside as well as out so you don't need to worry about the rain!)
Then it was back to England but we had to keep walking - well Caleb was doing more climbing on Harrison's Rocks (below)
And Scotney Castle is stunning with autumn colour
Our ballet dancer and sprinter are ready for the church's Wapzone Party - much more fun than trick or treating!
