Exploring Nairobi

We had our first venture into central Nairobi on Saturday to look up some of Deborah's family history. Her grandparents were married in All Saints Cathedral and her gran, great aunt, great uncle and great grandfather used to sing in the choir!

We had fun looking at old choir photos in the vestry and found half the family members we were looking for...

Our taxi driver turned out to have Archbishop Festus Olang for his grandfather - the first African Archbishop of Kenya (?facts to be confirmed)

Caleb and Bethanie found some good places to play

and Caleb persuaded us onto a pedalo in nearby Uhuru park
