Our cousins have come!

It's lovely to see the cousins back together again as if no time has passed but do you spot who is missing?

Esther and Ruth were not allowed to board the plane at Heathrow as their passports only had 5.5 months to go and Kenya shares the USA's 6 month rule - a fact that none of us knew.  Ruth had a traumatic 48 hours having to go to Wales for the nearest passport office with a next day appointment and then back to Heathrow praying for two spaces on standby.  She never imagined she'd be flying to Africa, just her and Esther on their own!  We were thankful for many answered prayers that they got to us with just 48 hours delay.

Whilst waiting for the girls we showed the boys some of the local sights - here is the 'International Car Wash'

Dad enjoys a cup of locally-grown tea

Caleb shows us around his school

Noah enjoys a very blue cupcake at Village Market

Then on to some of the kids' favourite (though not very African) activities - mini golf...

...and electric jeep driving

A happy breakfast with Esther (and her mum) having joined us.

 Walking together to church..

 .. and back

Enjoying the helicopter in Beth's school playground

Ethiopian food for supper - no knives and forks and you eat the plate (very yummy it is too!)

 I think Esther likes it!
