Granny and Grandad go exploring

Once the kids were on half-term, a trip to the Nairobi Snake Park was in order.  It had been allegedly refurbished but Mum felt it was unchanged from when she used to visit as a girl.

These two look friendly

The sign, less so!

Hitching a ride Nairobi-style

The stuff dreams are made of

A visit to Kazuri Beads' workshop - started as a small project to help single mums make a living; now employing over 100 women.

Some very funky macrame

Granny and Grandad boldly headed downtown to photography exhibition they'd seen a poster for

Another adventure but well worth it

They even braved the bus home
