December - friends and family

December was a month of welcoming visitors; both existing family members (you'll probably recognise Justin's parents, Eileen and Robin. by now)...

...also new SIM South Sudan family members

This is Tariq Haase, now living in Doro with his mum and dad, Charisa and William.

And in the pictures below you can try and spot all 6 members of the Cross family.  They will join the water team after 1 year of language study.  Thanks to language schools in Ktm being closed down, the Cross family were temporarily stranded in Nairobi for a couple of months (we know that feeling!).  Happily, Justin was able to get a pre-fab house to Melut for them and Jon went in to help build it.  You can read more of their story at www.gospelwater.net 

Rosemary had a birthday just before Christmas and a fun party with her new Nairobi friends

We all went on a picnic to the Arboretum.  Monkeys welcomed us at the entrance but after that the main things swinging in the trees were our kids!
