On Good Friday we had a wonderful visit with the family of one of Caleb's friends - Ali. His parents, Ghazi and Samar welcomed us with warm Lebanese hospitality - and a tantalizing array of food! They also had a South Korean friend/business associate visiting, so we were quite the international crowd.
Spice biscuits, banana bread, coconut slices and English scones (guess who brought those!)
Proper coffee
Pomegranate
In the fruit bowl behind were fresh almonds - we normally only eat the kernel but these were green, soft and best dipped in salt. Yum!Football with palm trees for goal posts
Easter Sunday we celebrated with good friends on our team. A selection are seen here...
Christiane, Claire and baby Noel
Noel lets us have a cuddle - what a treat!
After Easter Deborah is invited on a silent prayer day at a beautiful retreat centre in Karen. It's not hard to pray in a garden like this!
A prayer labyrinth. It's a powerful experience walking and praying the twists and turns of life's journey; stopping and resting in God in the centre; and then moving back out again, trusting afresh in Him.
