Time for our summer tour of the UK - first stop Granny & Grandad's

Jane and Vern welcomed us into their home that overflows with hospitality - 3 different sets of visitors in this photo and only one is related!
We had rushed to Cambridge to be in time to see the Tour de France so on Monday morning we joined the crowds heading for the Parkers Piece starting point.
After watching the pre-race parade we legged it across to Trumpington Road to find a quieter, long, straight stretch. I forgot to take a photo of the bikes actually going past - doh!

Time for a few days of home renovations - J puts new roofing felt on the lawnmower shed
We also spent a day at SIM HQ, the lovely Wetheringsett Manor. We really appreciate their de-briefing skills and chance to share with the wider staff team.
J's Auntie Pat and Uncle Charles, plus cousin Catriona and partner Tom come to meet us for a lovely pub supper.
J's brother Matt then joins us back in Kent for a lovely countryside ramble - we miss those!
